It was important to me to have a female provider, and Dr. Meiser was easy to talk to. I felt comfortable discussing my concerns with her. I never felt rushed during my appointment, and she provided samples for me to try. What I appreciated most was that she didn't simply tell me I wasn't a candidate for hormone replacement therapy. She took the time to explain why, in a way that I could easily understand. She thoroughly discussed the reasons behind her recommendation and offered an alternative solution that I respected and appreciated.
The assistant Lori communicated my information effectively to the doctor, it’s was done with clarity. Dr. Meiser took time to discuss my concern regarding fibroids, the effects they have on my health, for example they cause excess bleeding and frequent urination etc. I felt comfortable speaking with her and discussing my possible options, which she listed and explained. From Miami, she moved out to West Texas to pursue medical school at Texas Tech University. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for her commitment to compassionate patient care and volunteerism. After obtaining her medical degree, she completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident and obtained numerous honors including several teaching and research awards. Her research interests centered around contraceptive access in vulnerable populations, Mullerian variants, and preeclampsia, and she has been able to both present and publish several of her works.
Dr. Meiser has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopy and robotics. Her goal is to make each patient feel heard, understood, and comfortable during their gynecologic care. She is committed to bringing her talents to serve the women of the Treasure Coast.
In her free time, Dr. Meiser is a consummate foodie and home chef, and loves to try out different international recipes with her husband. She also loves being outside at the beach and spending time with her two cats.
