Rebecca Rivera, CNM

Becky Rivera, CNM was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and there is nowhere else she’d rather be.  At a young age she knew she wanted to become a nurse, just like her grandmother.  As she explored the various fields of nursing the enchantment of pregnancy was so moving she knew she found her true passion.  Becky attended the University of Arizona’s College of Nursing immediately following high school, graduating in 2005.  She practiced as a labor and delivery nurse for just over 10 years before realizing something was missing.  She wanted to provide care for women not only during their labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum days, she wanted to provide care during a woman’s lifespan.  Women go through many different stages of life and Becky had a calling to empower women as they navigate their unique journey.  Becky graduated from University of Cincinnati with her Master’s in the Science of Nursing in 2016.  She is excited to learn where you are in your journey and join you on it as you work together to obtain your women’s health goals.

Becky is both a wife and mother.  She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and playing at the park with her three beautiful children.  During the summer months movies and ice cream are a great way to stay cool.  Becky loves to walk the 4th Avenue Street Fairs, capture special moments behind the lens of a camera, and exploring Winterhaven’s Festival of Lights is a must every year.  Although she has lived in Tucson her whole life, finding new local bites to eat is a fun hobby the entire family enjoys.
