The world of Obstetrics & Gynecology was not where I had envisioned myself as a kid, but it is exactly where I want to be. I envisioned being in business, similar to others in my family. Although I knew I could make a difference in this path, I grew to want a job where I could make the largest impact among women as possible. My heart was with connecting with people on an individual level – and I found this in healthcare.

As an Obstetrician & Gynecologist, I am able to partner with women for all the important moments of life. During the happiest of moments such as pregnancy & childbirth, I strive to provide top-quality care and support to ensure a healthy and happy pregnancy. This is less than 5% of a woman’s life, however. In all the other times, I seek to provide evidence-based knowledge about the issues that most families are not talking about in public spaces. I love shining light on shrouded topics such as abnormal bleeding, fibroids, birth control, hormonal issues, infertility, and menopause! I also enjoy the diversity in providing office-based care, in minimally-invasive procedures & surgery, and in labor & delivery. Overall, I am happy to be working with fantastic women all day long.
When I am not talking about women’s health issues, you can find me enjoying a cup of black coffee in the morning, bike-riding along the Minnesota trails and swimming at the lake with my two young children, or restaurant surfing around Minneapolis with my husband. As a Minnesota native, I love to call Minneapolis our home and support its amazing people!
