Dr. Salli Tazuke is the Co-founder and Co-Medical Director of CCRM Fertility of San Francisco and is board-certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Prior to co-founding CCRM San Francisco, she was the division director of fertility clinic at Palo Alto Medical Foundation for nine years.

She is originally from Japan and her love of language and culture led her to pursue study of history and Chinese languages as an undergraduate at Stanford University. After receiving her medical degree from University of California San Diego, she completed her residency at Yale University School of Medicine and her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford University School of Medicine. During her fellowship, she received the notable recognition of Outstanding Laparoendoscopic Resident Surgeon by the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.

After her fellowship, Dr. Tazuke remained at Stanford as a faculty to pursue her clinical practice and research interests in ovarian biology and endometriosis. She continued her academic practice and interest at University of Pennsylvania’s Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division when her husband was recruited there as faculty. She participated in the NIH and ASRM sponsored Reproductive Scientist Training Program and CREST (The Clinical Research/Reproductive Scientist Training Program), and has presented and published her work extensively. She has been a reviewer for Fertility and Sterility and American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
