Everything was fine. It's just that waiting for 25 minutes before getting into the exam room is fairly long.
Very long wait but excellent care.
She is and has always been a thorough, thoughtful and proactive physician. I have been with her for 6 years and don't plan to see anyone else. Dr. Mattison is empathetic, professional and competent, but above all else is compassionate. We need more physicians like her.
The doctor is always patient. Well spoken gives you the allotted amount of time that makes you feel comfortable and peaceful with your decision.

VERY UNPLEASANT WAITING ROOM EXPERIENCE DUE TO THE HORRIBLE AND UPSETTING WHITE NOISE MACHINE, LOUD, SOUND POLLUTION. Dr. Mattison is extremely kind, knowledgeable, very nice, and humble. Takes the time to listen to your concerns, making the overall experience very comfortable.

Sandra Mattison, MD, FACOG is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and joined Women’s Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Women's Health Connecticut practice, in 2019. Dr. Mattison received her undergraduate degree at Andrews University in 2003. She attended the Loma Linda University and earned her medical degree in 2007. She completed her ObGyn internship and residency at Geisinger Medical Center and graduated in 2011.
Dr. Mattison is an active member of several medical societies including the North American Menopause Society as a Certified Menopause Practitioner, a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
Dr. Mattison speaks fluent Spanish. She also volunteers for various women's care organizations. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys gardening, traveling and hiking.
