The doctor has helped me more within 20 minutes than my OB/GYN that I've been seeing since 16. She listened to me in my concerns and said OK we're gonna figure this out. Got blood drawn on that day and have my next appointment scheduled to figure out next steps on how to get pregnant. She and her medical assistant had great attitudes and were really nice. I can't wait for my next appointments.
Getting an appointment and onboarding as a new patient was efficient. Front and back office staff were professional. Dr. Elhusein is an excellent physician, showing care and spending appropriate time for my initial visit.
Apart from the professionalism it was how well I was treated that topped it all. Everyone involved did their best to make me feel comfortable (I was really nervous/scared). I loved how I was walked through each step so I knew what to expect. Wasn't the easiest to go through but I felt very supported and cared for.

The nurses and Dr. Elhussein are phenomenal!!!! Seriously the best doctor and staff I go to. So compassionate and thoughtful. They really listen to your concerns and needs. You're not rushed at all. She's very educated and I wish I had had her as my OB when I was pregnant years ago.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Elhusein graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. She later went on to become a faculty member at Mclaren Macomb for several years where she practiced obstetrics and gynecology while overseeing resident training and education. As a board certified OB/GYN, Dr. Elhusein is trained in robotic surgery as well as other minimally invasive procedures. She provides obstetric and gynecological care for women in all stages of life and combines traditional care with the latest advancements to deliver the best care possible. Dr. Elhusein has moved to the Melbourne area with her husband Dr. Ehsan Sharaf-Eldeen and 2 sons. She is very excited to have the opportunity to raise her family in her husband’s home town!
