Originally from Michigan, Dr. Elhusein graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. She completed her residency at Mclaren Macomb Hospital in 2012 where she was chief resident. She later went on to become a faculty member at Mclaren Macomb for several years where she practiced obstetrics and gynecology while overseeing resident training and education. As a board certified OB/GYN, Dr. Elhusein is trained in robotic surgery as well as other minimally invasive procedures. She provides obstetric and gynecological care for women in all stages of life and combines traditional care with the latest advancements to deliver the best care possible. Dr. Elhusein has moved to the Melbourne area with her husband Dr. Ehsan Sharaf-Eldeen and 2 sons. She is very excited to have the opportunity to raise her family in her husband’s home town!
