She was extremely informative and helpful.
Despite a fully booked schedule for the week, staff was willing and able to fit me in as a last minute appointment that same day. I also appreciate that the practice accepts Medicare patients. It was challenging for me to find a practice that did accept my insurance. Shara met my needs that day, and I am confident that the course of treatment she recommended will resolve my issues.

I thought that the doctor was very nice and I thought the facility was very clean and very modern and I loved the personalized experience that I received. The front desk staff is fantastic, and I think that they are also kind, especially with how nervous I was with all the cramping and then the technician who drew blood was also very gentle and considerate of my mental state being nervous about a surprise baby. I thought that she was very professional and kind and understanding

As a Physician Assistant specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, I have a strong interest in family planning, patient education, and supporting women as they navigate the many transitions throughout their lives.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed my master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Samuel Merritt University. Originally from the Philippines and raised in the Bay Area, I relocated with my family to Northern Virginia in 2019, where we’ve enjoyed becoming part of the DMV community.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, dancing, and keeping up with my two kids. I’m also deeply committed to youth mentorship and currently serve as a mentor in the local public school system. My favorite part of this work is building long-lasting relationships with my patients—ensuring they feel heard, respected, and cared for like family.
