Dr. Amaya was very kind. Very patient. Answered all my questions. Made me feel seen.
I grouped two appointments into this review. The first appt was perimenopause concerns due to my own symptom observations. She listened without judgment while also being direct and honest with me. Loved our visit so much. After labwork and other things during first appt, I had my follow up appointment. Already I felt better by the follow up appointment! She explained the results to me, we agreed on a plan going forward (I.e. gave her professional opinion without argument from me: I'm not the professional here but wanted professional help). I am so thankful for Dr. Amaya!! It's tough to talk about mood, hormones, anything menopause, mental health, yet these are vital aspects to my health, and honestly women's health in general. Whatever the issue, 10/10 recommend Dr. Amaya. She's the real deal. I've been with Cornerstone through both births and a miscarriage, and was seeking consistent gyn care (no plans for more babies for me). I didn't know who to choose, and I have zero regrets. Great provider, thorough, very to the point with compassion.
