Stephanie is a lifelong resident of Bergen County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Pursuing her passion for women’s health, Stephanie has worked for the last five years as a registered nurse at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, NJ—working on both the Mother/Baby and Labor & Delivery units. During her time on Labor & Delivery she cared for antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients and circulated in the operating room for cesarean sections. Stephanie is particularly interested in pregnancy and postpartum care, and will continue to work on the Labor & Delivery unit at Valley. She serves as an active member of their Policy & Procedures Committee which is devoted to enhancing practice and standards of care within the Labor & Delivery unit. She is certified in electronic fetal monitoring(C-EFM) and is a current member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Recently, Stephanie obtained a Master of Science in Women’s Health from the University of Cincinnati and became board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC). Stephanie’s personal interests include running, baseball, music, and personal health and wellness. When not at work, she can be seen adventuring with her loving husband, Richard, who supports her distance running goals by riding his bike alongside her. Stephanie began her running career fundraising and racing with the Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training and she participates in races to bring awareness to the Society. Stephanie is an avid marathon runner and is currently training to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
