Dr. Stuart Martin and his staff including Lacey, whoever did my labs and sonogram were very pleasant professionals! Everyone has been wonderful, helpful and sympathetic! At every visit at that! I travel from Granbury and I must say Dr. Martin is worth the drive! I delivered my toddler in Granbury two years ago, where even though my experience wasn’t bad there it has already been so much better here in Weatherford. I truly feel as though Dr. Martin is caring and doesn’t make me feel like just another patient, which I must say is a breath of fresh air! As mentioned previously, Dr. Martin makes it personable showing genuine compassion, empathy, concern, and very professional. I cannot stress enough how happy I am to have him as my doctor on this last (4th) pregnancy. I have had nothing but women doctors and did not mind the change at all! In fact he’s been the most gentle out of the rest. I really appreciate him and he is worth my 34 min drive! I delivered my last child in Granbury and though my experience wasn’t bad not bad I didn’t particularly want to deliver there again. Hence the drive. I do not regret it one bit, the whole staff has been beyond pleasant and helpful and I’m overall happy with my decision!

Dr. Stuart Martin, a native Texan, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He went on to complete his residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he developed a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. During his time at one of the nation’s busiest high-risk labor-and-delivery units, he gained extensive experience in complex obstetrics care.
Dr. Martin returned to Texas to establish his OB/GYN practice at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, where he served women across all stages of life for nine years. Passionate about women’s health and committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Dr. Martin made the decision to relocate to Weatherford, Texas, to join the team at Weatherford OB/GYN Associates.
He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also holds active memberships in the Texas Medical Association and the Big Country County Medical Society.
Dr. Martin and his wife, Katie, married in 2022 and are the proud parents of two young sons, Sam and Stone. They are excited to begin this new chapter in Weatherford and look forward to becoming part of the local community.
