Stuart Martin, MD

Dr. Stuart Martin, a native Texan, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He went on to complete his residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he developed a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. During his time at one of the nation’s busiest high-risk labor-and-delivery units, he gained extensive experience in complex obstetrics care.

Dr. Martin returned to Texas to establish his OB/GYN practice at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, where he served women across all stages of life for nine years. Passionate about women’s health and committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, Dr. Martin made the decision to relocate to Weatherford, Texas, to join the team at Weatherford OB/GYN Associates.

He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He also holds active memberships in the Texas Medical Association and the Big Country County Medical Society.

Dr. Martin and his wife, Katie, married in 2022 and are the proud parents of two young sons, Sam and Stone. They are excited to begin this new chapter in Weatherford and look forward to becoming part of the local community.
