Dr. Coates earned her medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Rutgers University in New Jersey. She went on to complete a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore.
Not only is Dr. Coates a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, she’s also board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She even serves as a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore.
While Dr. Coates can care for a realm of women’s health conditions, she has special interests in infertility, normal and high-risk pregnancy, and minimally invasive vaginal and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Coates strives to offer holistic preventive gynecologic care and treats each patient as a whole person, rather than focusing on a specific ailment.
She can help patients find effective solutions for chronic conditions, including endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). Dr. Coates is currently accepting new patients and welcomes them to the practice.
