My husband and I have struggled with infertility on both sides for about a decade. I have never liked going to female exams because I am always asked about that journey, over attempts at helping, over excitement with stories of how it happened with someone else, etc. Tamara Mitchell did none of those things. She focused on my health and wellbeing and that was it. When I praised her with tears in my eyes for not mentioning it, she simply said "of course, that's not everyone's journey." I felt seen and heard in both my struggle and avoidance for the first time. She didn't push a birth control or vitamins "just in case," but just moved on. Thank you so much for that. It truly means the world to me.
