Dr. Acosta is wonderful and is always a pleasant experience. I did 4 stars because my appt was at 2pm and I didn't get seen until almost 3pm. No one checked on me in the room to let me know they were running late.
Dr. Acosta was very attentive to what I shared about my health. Also, my Pap Smear with Dr. Acosta went 10 times better than prior Pap Smears. Not nearly as painful as other Pap Smear. Also, Dr. Acosta prescribed me HRT for premenopausal symptoms which is already helping me with my health.

She then completed her residency at Duke University Medical Center, where she was honored with awards for teaching, patient care, and pelvic surgery.
Dr. Acosta is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a junior fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha.
Dr. Acosta is fluent in Spanish and loves practicing the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology with a special interest in preventive care, gynecologic surgery, and healthcare access. She has a sweet and highly energetic Goldendoodle puppy. Her hobbies include ballroom dancing, outdoor activities, and spending time with family and friends.
