Everyone in the office was very polite and helpful. They looked happy like they enjoyed being there. I also felt like I was heard and no symptom I mentioned was dismissed. I never felt like the NP or the assistant we're just trying to rush out of the room. I had a wonderful experience at this location previously and I feel like this will be a positive experience as well. I also appreciate that the NP calls me directly of anything is needed and I don't reach a call center when I need to get a hold of the front office or any staff.
The visit was wonderful. I am just having trouble making an appointment for a follow up procedure. In the month time frame that is allowed the only appointment available was for the next day which I was already working.

She remembered me from my last pregnancy. Took the time to talk with me.
I really appreciate it that the receptionist told me that she was running 20 minutes behind. That was excellent communication. I appreciated that Valerie asked if I was comfortable or if I wanted an additional person in to witness the exam. And finally, I appreciated that she warned me about possible spotting and bleeding, and offered me a panty liner for my underwear.

Valerie is originally from Iowa. She is married to her high school sweetheart. They have two daughters. Prior to completing her Master’s degree and becoming a nurse practitioner, Valerie was a labor and delivery nurse. When not at work, she is usually spending time with her family. Valerie also serves as a board member of the PTO at her daughter’s elementary school and volunteers in the classroom. Valerie loves to cook and bake. She enjoys attending concerts and going to the theatre, as well as attending U of A sporting events.
