I value her expertise, her honesty and transparency. Her care for me and about me hits very close to home. If it were not for her I would have never known about my breast cancer diagnosis. Valerie is more than just a women's health provider ESPECIALLY TO ME. Her P.A. was very kind and helpful. Valerie just knows how to listen to her patients. And you have to look so hard in the medical world to find what sge naturally has. It's a gift that's for sure!! I have been with her for awhile and I definitely prefer to schedule my appointments at thee Tangerine clinic in Oro Valley compared to the LaCholla location. The staff they have at LaCholla that I've encountered are inconsistent and inconsiderate. Relaying messages is a flat out joke. They act so put out in even trying to get Important messages to her. And it's very revolving, you rarely speak to the same staff personal twice which makes it even more difficult on the patient. They are too fast and overlook the most important part of their daily job, the patients. I am very grateful for Valerie and her excellent staff at the Oro Valley location. I feel heard and scene when I am there❤️ And I just can't say enough positive compliments about them! Thank You

Valerie takes her time to listen to all of my concerns. She is thorough, knowledgeable and very polite.
The office was close to my home, clean, and cool. The wait time to reach the exam room wasn't too long. It took longer for the provider to come see me. When I called for an appointment, it took a couple of months for the first available. My next appointment is in over three months. My provider was informative and understanding with my health issues.

She was very knowledgeable about pregnancy and extremely thoughtful in her responses. All exams and procedures were done with care and ease, and I felt like I was in good hands during this pregnancy appointment.

Valerie is originally from Iowa. She is married to her high school sweetheart. They have two daughters. Prior to completing her Master’s degree and becoming a nurse practitioner, Valerie was a labor and delivery nurse. When not at work, she is usually spending time with her family. Valerie also serves as a board member of the PTO at her daughter’s elementary school and volunteers in the classroom. Valerie loves to cook and bake. She enjoys attending concerts and going to the theatre, as well as attending U of A sporting events.
