Women’s Health Specialists was founded in 1982. Our doctors strive to be on the forefront of medicine and have been actively involved in the advancement of new techniques in obstetrics and gynecology. We were instrumental in the early development and utilization of techniques for minimally invasive surgery, specializing in techniques that avoid hysterectomy. We participate in the care of high-risk pregnancies, including management of diabetes, chronic hypertension, multiple pregnancies, and IVF pregnancies. As part of our philosophy regarding comprehensive healthcare for women, we offer many special services. Among the in-office services available to our patients are first trimester genetic screening, 3D and 4D ultrasound, bone densitometry osteoporosis screening, digital mammography, amniocentesis, and infertility treatment. We also offer aesthetic services such as massage therapy and laser hair removal. WHS is a group practice that employs ten providers. We have seven full-time board-certified OB-GYNs and three nurse practitioners all of whom provide comprehensive gynecologic care with an emphasis on prevention and education.
