Alyssa Moxley, DNP, CNM, WHNP-BC

As a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Alyssa provides evidence-based care across the lifespan. She believes that promoting the health and well-being of women is key to improving the overall health of families and communities. By emphasizing informed consent and collaborative decision-making, Alyssa ensures her patients feel empowered in their healthcare choices.

Alyssa brings a wealth of knowledge to her practice. Before joining WHASN, Alyssa led a busy obstetric emergency department at a large tertiary care center in Southern California. She is also passionate about research in the field and has contributed to position statements for the American College of Nurse Midwives and published various research articles pertaining to women’s health.

Alyssa feels honored to support women through adolescence, family planning, pregnancy, motherhood, menopause, and beyond. When not at work, she enjoys biking, hiking, and trying new restaurants with her husband.
