Dr. Marek comes to Belcara Health from Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions, where he completed his residency in the Department of Dermatology, focusing on innovation in surgical dermatology and the identification and treatment of skin conditions and disease. Prior to his residency at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Marek received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded various accolades and grants for melanoma research and proactive programming initiatives. While at Perelman, Dr. Marek also received his Masters of Science in Translational Research, as he combined his extensive medical education with his passion and expertise in technology to investigate innovative screening solutions for high-risk melanoma patients, among other research opportunities and clinical trial studies.
