Andrew Sun, MD

Dr. Sun is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been a member of Shore Area OB/GYN for almost 20 years. Dr. Sun did his residency at Monmouth Medical Center and is a full attending physician there. He has earned many awards for the compassionate care he gives his patients. Dr. Sun went to the University of Pennsylvania and then on to Hahnemann University for his medical degree. He is an assistant professor at Drexel University, responsible for teaching medical students as they rotate through the hospital. Dr. Sun has held numerous positions on the medical board, and is now serving as President of the medical staff. Dr. Sun’s special interests include robotic surgery and in-office procedures such as ablations. When he is not busy at work, Dr. Sun enjoys being an active, involved parent, especially with coaching ice hockey and improving his golf game.
