She is a board-certified obstetrician / gynecologist that joined Women's Health Partners in 2006. She enjoys caring for patients throughout all stages of their lives and provides a full complement of obstetric and gynecologic services. Whether you're an obstetric patient being seen during your pregnancy, or an annual exam patient who may have concerns that arise during various stages of life, Dr. Cook wants you to be comfortable enough to ask questions and engage in conversation about your health.
Dr. Beth Cook completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology was completed at West Virginia University-Charleston Division at Women and Children's Hospital affiliated with Charleston Area Medical Center, a nearly 1000-bed tertiary center located in Charleston, West Virginia. She has been in private practice since 2002 and is affiliated with Summerville Medical Center, where she performs her deliveries and gynecologic surgeries. In addition to being Board Certified, she is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Cook is very active in the medical community and has served as the Chief Medical Officer for Summerville Medical Center since 2008. She was elected as Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology by her peers for the upcoming term and is a member of various hospital committees, including Women's Pelvic Health and Robotics.
