I accomplished this by working in a busy emergency room. I saw a wide variety of patients with complex medical problems and feel as if my time there made me a well-rounded PA. While I loved the quick pace and challenge of working in the ER, I really felt like I was missing out on forming relationships with patients because I saw them once and then their care was transferred to someone else.
