Carleyna Nunes, MD joined the team at Division 37 initially in 2016. In 2019 she moved west to be closer to family but soon discovered her heart was in northern Virginia so she rejoined Division 37 in 2023. Dr. Nunes completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University graduating with a BA in 2007. She then earned her medical degree from Brown University and graduated in 2011. She completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona in 2015. Dr. Nunes has a special interest in contraceptive management, family planning, adolescent care, general and high risk obstetrics. She sees patients for routine ObGyn care in the Herndon, Fairfax, Falls Church and Springfield offices. When not at work Dr. Nunes enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with her family and traveling.
