Carrie received her Bachelor of Science (BSN) in Nursing from the University of NC at Chapel Hill. She then went on to complete her Master of Science (MSN) at East Carolina University. She is licensed as an Advanced Practice Nurse through the NC Board of Nursing and as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) through the American Midwifery Certification Board.
