Dr. Larsen grew up in Sioux Falls, SD. She received her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, and then moved to Omaha, NE to attend Creighton University School of Medicine from 2002-2006. After completing her residency at Creighton University in 2010, she moved to Saint Paul and has practicing medicine in the Twin Cities Metro area ever since. She is board-certified as a Fellow in the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Dr. Larsen has been identified as a “Top Doctor Rising Star” by Minneapolis / St. Paul Magazine, and as a “Top Doctor” by Minnesota Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Larsen became interested in women’s health during her college years and continued that interest throughout her medical training. Her professional interests include adolescent health, contraception, preconception, fertility care, endometrial ablations to treat heavy periods, minimally-invasive surgery, and office procedures. Dr. Larsen has a special interest in low-risk and high-risk obstetric patients and receives great joy from helping her patients grow their families. She regularly states that “OBGYN is really the best job ever!“
In her spare time, Dr. Larsen loves to travel, read, cook, do puzzles, and spend time with her husband, family, and friends. If she was not a physician, she would be a professional home organizer.
