Dr. DeSelms grew up nearby in Bethesda, Maryland before moving to Rochester, NY to attend an eight year BS/MD program at the University of Rochester. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut with an emphasis on minimally invasive surgery. During residency, she became certified in the daVinci system for robotic surgery and participated in an exchange for advanced minimally invasive techniques in Morelia, Mexico. She is equally passionate about providing patient-centered care throughout pregnancy and delivery.
