Dr. Martin explained to me why I was bleeding heavily and now I have to have a biopsy done. Then possibly an ablation.

He was then off to California where he earned his doctorate (M.D.) at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He came back to the south to complete his OBGYN residency at the University of Kentucky. While there he was awarded the Award for Excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, The Award for Excellence in Minimally invasive Gynecologic surgery, and the Resident of the Year awarded by the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has a special interest in gynecologic surgery and is passionate about giving his patients outstanding and individualized care.
Outside of medicine he enjoys spending time on our beautiful Gulf: scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, anything he can to get out on the water! While all of that is wonderful, his favorite thing is to spend every moment he can with his beautiful wife and new daughter. He feels so blessed to be raising his family in this beautiful place we get to call home.
