Dr. McPadden was very personable and made me feel comfortable. I had previously seen Dr. Johnson for over 35 years. Having to find a new doctor after that many years is difficult but Dr. McPadden delivered.

Dr. McPadden is always fantastic.
She sat and listened to me and my symptoms and gave me suggestions and explained the options.
I am a patient of OBGYN West but was referred to Dr. McPadden from my doctor, Dr. Larson, to address my low iron levels. Dr. McPadden was a great listener, addressed all my concerns & we are on a good path forward to figure out.
Dr. McPadden and team were absolutely incredible. I had a very positive experience at the office. However, subsequent interactions with the office have not been great. Documentation of the visit was poor, which has made it difficult to get required follow up care. Ability to access and transfer medical records has taken several business days of work. Scheduling staff after the appointment was rude and required me to explain medical issues outside my knowledge because the visit notes were incomplete.
Everything ran on time and I liked Dr. McPadden.
I felt heard and was made to feel my health mattered. I appreciated the phone call after hours to discuss my lab work.

Family medicine physician Dr. Jaimee McPadden grew up in Young America, Minn., where she spent her childhood playing every sport available—and collecting knee injuries which made her realize that college basketball was not in her future. Those injuries ended up sending her down the path to medicine, proving that sometimes the best career guidance comes from your own orthopedic mishaps.
She went to Iowa and fell in love with another small town! At Luther College, Dr. McPadden balanced her studies with choir and athletic training, making her one of the few people who can harmonize and tape an ankle at the same time. She then attended medical school at the University of Minnesota Duluth and Twin Cities campuses, where she discovered her love for obstetrics, pediatrics, sports medicine, women’s health, mental health, and caring for underserved communities—essentially everything which led her to Family Medicine. She completed her training at United Family Medicine Residency in St. Paul where she learned from some of the best mentors while doing rotations on the ski slopes in Colorado, a teenager pregnancy clinic in St. Paul, and hospital rounds at all hours. While loving it all, she felt a calling for “Home.”
After practicing full spectrum family medicine for over 17 years, Dr. McPadden is excited to be joining Premier Women’s Health OBGYN West. She enjoys preventive health for adolescents and women, mental health, and helping athletes (and “athletes at heart”) stay active. She’s passionate about getting to know her patients—and their families, pets, hobbies, and goals. Her philosophy is simple: listen well, partner with people, and work together to make health feel manageable instead of overwhelming.
She lives in Waconia with her daughter, two goldendoodles (Ollie and Maya), and two cats (Landi and Luna). It’s unclear who actually runs the household! When she makes time, Dr. McPadden attempts to maintain a green thumb with her flowers, plans her next Disney vacation or warm-weather escape, cheers loudly for women’s basketball (Go UConn and Lynx), or falls asleep while reading or watching a movie.
