I saw Dr. Mitchell and she ordered some tests to help diagnose my situation. My first test was a cystoscopy and the young lady who did the testing was friendly, caring and very aware of my anxiety. She made me as comfortable as she possibly could, explained exactly what she was doing all the time, as well as explaining the reason for all things she was doing each time. I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate person anywhere.
Office staff and the doctor were very courteous and helpful. Fully explained all the tests that were needed.

Dr. Mitchell was outstanding…knowledgeable, professional, gentle, and very informative. However, I had to wait a long time before I was welcomed when I arrived at the office. Also, I wasn't given all my paperwork when I left and had to return and request them. In short, Dr. Mitchell was great but the running of the office needs to flow much better.

Dr. Mitchell is one of the best doctors I have ever had! Shae along with Dr. Greene are so competent, warm and caring. They listen and I feel better just having been with them. Also, Emily is wonderful and the whole team is exceptional. They are gentle during exams and I felt comfortable at all times. I'm so happy and grateful to be a patient of FFU!

In a desire to be closer to family, she earned her medical degree at University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Falling in love with the Sunshine State and community, she completed her residency training at USF Health and was named Chief Resident.
Upon completing her residency training, Dr. Mitchell joined private practice, obtained board certification in 2018, and became a partner within the practice. Dr. Mitchell cherished the privilege of assisting women in their pregnancy care and delivery; however once completing her own family, she found herself in a new phase of life with a passion to continue providing excellent and evidence-based gynecological care with an interest in menopause, anti-aging, and age reversal.
She offers conservative and office-based approaches for many conditions that affect women in the menopausal years including urinary incontinence, prolapse, and hormone-related concerns. Dr. Mitchell believes in a comprehensive approach to medicine, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social aspects of patient health. She is known for her thoroughness and caring nature and strives to build lasting relationships with her patients.
In her spare time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys exercising, reading, boating, and traveling. Her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family and raising her two children, Mason and Madison, and two labradoodles, Bentley and Brody, with her husband James.
