Verified Patient Reviews for Jessica Guinness, MD
The entire staff was pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Guinness' approach, examination and follow-up is excellent. When my former Doctor (C Copeland) retired, I was very concerned my next doctor would be unable to come close to the patient care I received and appreciated from him. Dr. Guinness comes very close to meeting the same standard. I am happy, and trust her with my health. She is personable, expresses warmth, and is detailed on my current health, concerns to be aware of and future care.

She's the best OB!
Great interaction with staff and physician!
Dr Guinness has gone above and beyond as my OBGYN. I started seeing her with my first pregnancy in 2019 and have had 3 children now. My first pregnancy turned out to be very high risk with my daughter having medical complications which were discovered during my anatomy scan. Gwenna was so amazing as the ultrasound tech and has followed me through each pregnancy as well. With such scary news, Dr Guinness jumped into action, getting us to an MFM provider she personally knew and treated my first pregnancy with such care and concern. My daughter ended up passing away at 11 months and Dr Guinness was there for me. Not just professionally but personally as well. She truly cares for her patients and I consider her a friend. It took my husband and I a while to decide to have more children after losing our daughter and Dr Guinness was there every step of the way. My second pregnancy was completely typical but was extremely emotional and I felt so supported by Dr G, Gwenna and the entire staff at Avina. I am 2 months post partum with my third and it’s honestly sad knowing I don’t get to see them as often now! I decided on a tubal ligation and Dr G was informative, supportive and patient with my decision making. I have referred countless friends to Dr Guinness as well as Avina in general. I will never forget how wonderful and supportive they are and am forever grateful I found Dr G.
Office was nice. Dr. Guinness was nice and calm speaking and explained what she was doing and going to do.
Dr. Guinness is simply the best. She is warm, inviting, professional, and honest all at the same time. She is what you hope every physician to be. I recommend her to everyone I know without hesitation, because I know anyone seeing her will receive the best care available.
