I have never had in my 48 years a doctor so patient, concerned, totally in tune to my desires, and most of all listen and empathize, then provided direction and a plan for success. She was so knowledgeable and confident when she was providing me the information. She gave eye contact and with just totally sincerity. I only met Dr. Jessica one time but I know she truly loved by many!

Because among other health issues, I have severe insomnia, anxiety, agoraphobia, and severe paranoia that causes having a Telehealth video basically impossible because the fine on the waiver I had to sign, said in so many words that I give permission for others that I may not know are present, to observe my private medical session, and that the session may be recorded. From the things I listed, all those things fall under the definition of being paranoid and I am not able to sign anything saying I’m ok with any one or all of the things listed. Whom ever wrote this obviously doesn’t understand much about the medical profession. I was late by a few minutes for my psychiatrist appointment after calling and telling them I was running late, but they still wouldn’t see me. I was in crisis, began to have a panic attack, and was without medications which was why I was there. I begged to be seen and didn’t understand why they still turned away a patient in desperate need of anxiety medications, because all this was still technically during my scheduled appointment and I was not cutting into anyone else’s appointment. I was told that they refuse to prescribe the medications I need without an appointment, and I was shown the door. The doctor suggested I contact Women’s Wellness and ask them to write my prescriptions. I suffered for 4 months feeling abandoned by that doctor. My insomnia got worse, I couldn’t eat, and I was unable to leave my house even to walk a shot distance to get my mail from the communal mailbox. Because it’s not easy for me to just pick up the phone and make an appointment, before I knew it 4 months had passed. Once I finally got the nerve to call Women’s Wellness, they were beyond helpful and kind as usual for as long as I can remember since I have been a patient there for many years. Due my medical issues and fears of not being able to do a Telehealth session, Jessica Stepp was so amazing and kind. She put my well-being first. She made me feel important and deserved to be helped, because “Do no harm “ is losing its meaning when almost every sentence from my other doctors office starts with “It’s our policy...” When did policy become more important than patient care and wellbeing? With all these policies, a LOT more harm is being done, but no one seems to care anymore. I feel that Jessica and the staff at Women’s Wellness genuinely care, and Jessica helped me without making me feel like I’m at fault for having health issues and phobias. I appreciate being treated like a person instead of a list of billing codes for the office to cash in. I sincerely thank you for everything.
