Dr. Maquiera has been a blessing. I have been dealing with increased bleeding, discomfort, and so much uncertainty and immediately he discussed a plan and put into place. He has always been supportive and provides education to me and my family as I have begun this journey since seeing him His confidence and compassion reassured me and I felt heard for the first time in a long time. I am so grateful that he took my case and that we have him in our community as a patient advocate. This care is not common at a time when healthcare has so much change. I have worked in healthcare for over 25 years and I am typically on the other side. I was nervous about surgery because this was a first for me and he put my mind at ease. He and his staff have been wonderful and I would highly recommend his care. Thank you for all that you all have done for me I am still recovering but there has not been one time that I did not feel like I could reach out to him or the staff and ask questions. In fact before surgery I did reach out and I was answered quickly and thoroughly THANKS AGAIN Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Dr Maquiera has been a blessing He was willing to listen and assist. This has been a long three-year journey, and he and my primary care provider have worked together to improve my quality of life and actually help me! THANK YOU. I have always heard that Dr Maquiera was a blessing from a friend that was a long-time nurse in the office and patients that have been with him for a long time here in Port St Joe. I have been with this practice for over thirty years I was a single mom over thirty years ago when Dr Mark Wolf took so much time with me and cared for me when I was scared and he and Dr. Dwyer was wonderful and then I had the blessing to have Dr Ingram take care of me with my second child while I was in PTA school and stressed out. I am grateful to them all! Dr Maquiera and all of these amazing physicians - some who are no longer here with us were blessings to me and I am so grateful for ALL of their help and support and in taking GREAT CARE of me. Going to the doctor can already be unnerving and scary and these gentlemen have all been wonderful to reassure me throughout the years. There have also been several ARNPs who have been so wonderful to me in this practice as well. I AM THANKFUL. I have literally been full circle in life with this practice, and I am so glad that I have had the providers to walk with me during so many wonderful and scary times in my life. The last three years have been so scary and I did not know what was going on with my body and when I got the referral to see Dr Maquiera and heard how many people say that he helped them and even saved their lives, it made me feel so much better and then he met with me had a specific plan, was compassionate and has helped more than he will ever know. I am still recovering but goodness I am so grateful for him and that we have him in our community. I know that he is so busy but thank you to him for helping me and not making me feel like a number but a person Thank you!

I could not ask for or have a better doctor than Dr Maqueira! He always takes the time to explain any procedure and answer all questions I may have.
