Dr. Mayer always puts me at ease immediately, answers all of my questions, and makes me feel confident before leaving the office. She is the best.
I was greeted warmly by young woman at the desk. She was extremely polite, told me not to fret . Reassured me that I was on time. Time with the nurse and Dr Mayer was extremely pleasant. Dr was very gentle with my gyn exam. She counseled me & encouraged me to f/u with the Urologist re: cystoscopy. I got a good gyn report.
Everyone in the office is wonderful and kind. I was called back in a timely manner once vitals were done I went right back to wait in a room for Dr. Mayer. We listened to baby's heart and went over any concerns/ queations I had since our last appointment. I love feeling like Im being listened to and I matter Im not just another patient in the office. Truly a great experience over all !

She then returned to NJ to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor, graduating from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School with Distinction in Service to the Community. She joined her husband in the Navy and completed her Residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. She spent her last four years of service in Virginia and California and continued her passion for teaching as Simulation Coordinator for the OBGYN residents and Medical Student Clerkship Site Director for EVMS and USUHS medical students.
Dr. Mayer is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionate about empowering, educating, and listening to her patients. Her particular interests are pregnancy loss, contraception, reproductive choice, LGBTQ+ care, and pediatric/adolescent gynecology.
Dr. Mayer and her husband used to enjoy traveling and exploring wine country, but these days their time is spent with their busy, inquisitive, mischievous and adorable daughter watching Disney movies, singing, dancing, painting, and running around playgrounds.
