Born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, I was taught from a young age by all the strong women in my life that, as a woman, we should support one another. This has ultimately driven me to become an L&D nurse in Dallas, Texas for the past seven years and go back to school to obtain my Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nurse Midwifery from Texas Tech University Health Science Center.

As a newly certified Nurse Midwife, I am excited to embark on a rewarding career supporting women and families through the transformative experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to make informed choices about their reproductive health. Whether supporting patients through prenatal care, assisting in labor and delivery, or offering postpartum guidance, I am committed to providing individualized care in partnership with each family’s unique needs and preferences.

During my clinical training, I worked in diverse settings, including hospitals, clinics, and birthing centers, where I developed skills in managing low-risk and more complex pregnancies. I value the importance of patient education, fostering open communication, and promoting a holistic, family-centered approach to midwifery care. Every woman should have the opportunity to have safe and empowering care throughout each pivotal stage of womanhood. I am particularly passionate about mental health, considering my own experience with postpartum depression after having a wonderful birth with my midwife, breastfeeding support, and women’s health throughout the lifespan.

In addition to midwifery, I enjoy spending the days with my daughter and friends. I am also a true traveling QUEEN and am always down for a vacation on the beach or around Europe.

I am dedicated to fostering a balanced, well-rounded approach to life and care. I look forward to positively impacting the lives of the families I serve here in Austin!
