Lauren Capurata, WHNP

For more than 15 years, Lauren Capurata, CRNP has been providing high-quality healthcare to women in multiple settings. Lauren began her career as a medical assistant with Capital Women’s Care which instilled in her a lifelong passion for women’s health. She earned her Associates of Applied Science in Nursing from Marymount University and spent eight years as a Labor and Delivery RN at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. Lauren earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing- Women’s Health and Gender Related Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She enjoys caring for women throughout the lifespan with a particular interest in Preventative Medicine, Family Planning and Contraceptive Management. Lauren enjoys spending time at home with her husband Nelson, their son Diego and their dog Tyson.
