I got an appointment at Capital Women's Care D-23 as a new patient while I couldn't get anywhere else.
First time to the OBGYN and was terrified of the procedure as I am and have never been sexually active and my NP had walked me through the whole procedure with care and understanding.
Dr. Lauren has incredible bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. She was gentle with the procedure and communicates in a way that emotes care and assurance. I had left this office because of a previous provider but returned due to an insurance change. I was skeptical of having a good experience upon return, but Dr. Lauren has changed my perception of the clinic.

Lauren earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing- Women’s Health and Gender Related Nurse Practitioner from Drexel University in Philadelphia. She enjoys caring for women throughout the lifespan with a particular interest in Preventative Medicine, Family Planning and Contraceptive Management. Lauren enjoys spending time at home with her husband Nelson, their son Diego and their dog Tyson.
