She graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Connecticut. During residency she received the Dr. Spero Neckles Award for Outstanding Resident Research in Gynecology, the highest CREOG score among the fourth-year residents, and the Alumni Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. She has completed a certification for da Vinci robotic surgery and has clinical interest in complex gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Kowalski is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, where she has held multiple advisory board roles. With ACOG, she has met with local and national politicians to advocate for women’s health issues.
