Dr. Cavallini made me feel so comfortable. He talked to me and got to know me and my history. He was friendly and kind and talked through everything he was doing. I have never had a male gynecologist but was referred to him by a friend who said he was wonderful. She was right! My Pap smear was easy and he talked through birth control recommendations with me and made me feel heard.

The provider was thorough, he was empathetic and he followed up where we left off last visit. I know he sees numerous patients, I am not expecting him to remember me or anything like that, but he is always pleasant and I don't feel like I am just a number or another patient.

Appointments were (and have been in the past) on time and the nurse/doctor don't leave patients waiting in the exam rooms for extended periods of time. Lab work and ultrasounds are the same way. Also Dr. Cavallini seems to listen to all of my concerns and approaches answers / next steps / treatment protocol with everything considered in a quick and efficient manner.

My experience can be divided into two distinct parts: with the provider and nurse vs. the office and waiting area. Dr. Cavallini and Brenda are always great and trusted folks during my visit. I appreciate them and their expertise. The office experience consistently is lacking. My most recent visit was the first time that someone at the front desk actually greeted me verbally and by looking up from a screen. Much better! The lady at the front desk quickly checked me in and sent me to the waiting area near the exam rooms. Better than normal. The waiting area near the front desk is unacceptable. The waiting area near the exam rooms is pitiful. The furniture is stained, sagging, and altogether looks like it should be on the curb. Would you welcome someone to your home or anywhere really by offering them the shabbiest furniture you can find during a visit that could be fraught with anxiety, fear, apprehension, discomfort? My clothes are clean when I arrive and I always question whether I want to sit on the dirty furniture. Is the best you can do stock photos of kids everywhere and a kid table with books? Many of your patients likely don't have children, may have experienced infertility, loss, grief, or other stress related to all that is put on women related to motherhood and having children. Why not landscapes, modern art, whimsical decor? Literally anything other than the current decor that can make a patient feel like it's a 1960s doctors office for women not worthy of care, cleanliness, and respect. Would I find a men's health office to look the same? Sure, accommodate patients who need to bring children with them to appointments, but don't subject everyone to all the visuals of "your purpose as a women is to birth children." While the partner providers may all be excellent health care professionals, I highly recommend you do quick outreach to an interior designer who can quickly pull together a proposal for a facelift to the office along with appropriate furniture. Let professionals with that expertise help you bring your practice up to be representative of the care and respect you strive to give.

Dr. Cavallini is very thorough and patient. The wait time was minimal and the mammogram tech was very pleasant.
