Neil Niemi, MD

Originally from Maryland, Dr. Neil Niemi came to Ohio to pursue a collegiate gymnastics career at The Ohio State University. There, he was captain of the gymnastics team that won both the Big Ten and NCAA National Championships. Staying in Columbus and remaining a Buckeye, Dr. Niemi continued his studies at The Ohio State University College of Medicine followed by completing his residency at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital. He has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, pelvic reconstruction, urinary incontinence and other women’s health issues. A hiking and boating enthusiast, today, Dr. Niemi is married and has two sons and twin daughters.
