The front desk staff, medical assistants and Dr. Piper were all friendly and approachable. I really appreciated how kind and thoughtful Dr. Piper was while listening to my concerns. She offered real solutions and reassurance.
I felt that I was given focused attention by the Dr.
Dr. Piper took the time to listen and not rush through the appointment even when I had questions unrelated to just a general pap exam. She gave me options but didn't push one or the other. The only issue was the wait time. My appointment was at 3pm, but was told to arrive at 2:40pm. I arrived right at 2:40, but I was not taken back to a room until 3:30pm (So I was in the waiting room for 50 mins!) I did not see the doctor until sometime close to 4pm. The entire appointment with the dr. only lasted about 10 min, but I didn't leave until 4:15pm. So in total I was there for 1.5 hours for a pap, breast exam, and a few questions. A lot of the reviews on google complain about the wait times, so I was expecting it, but it was still very frustrating. I know the complaints about wait times fall on deaf ears as this is the norm for a lot of practices. Cram as many patients in as possible and let them wait = More money for you.

Dr. Piper earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Florida State University and her medical degree at Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and is thrilled to be returning to warm weather and sunny beaches here in North Carolina. She completed her residency training at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and earned many accolades for her warm bedside manner, calm demeanor, and enthusiasm for teaching. Dr. Piper enjoys performing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and delivering babies. She has a special interest in abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, and high-risk obstetrics. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to diversity and inclusion.
When not at work, Dr. Piper enjoys being outdoors, hiking, swimming, traveling, and spending time with her husband who is also a physician. They are thrilled to be the new parents to their first baby!
