Dr. Melendy has lived in in Florida most of her life, growing-up in nearby Stuart. After earning her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Miami, Dr. Melendy trained at University of Florida.When asked why she chose her specialty because, she responds “I love that obstetrics and gynecology affords the opportunity to practice medicine and surgery across a woman’s entire lifespan. It is such a unique field that allows me to provide all encompassing and compassionate care through every aspect of a woman’s life – there is no other specialty quite like it.”
Outside the office, Dr. Melendy enjoys spending time with her husband and two children traveling, watching Hurricane & Gator football games, boating and offshore fishing.
