Shaheen Jacob, MD, FACOG

Shaheen Jacob, MD, FACOG, is a compassionate OB/GYN at Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology, PA, located in Frisco, Texas. Dr. Jacob is dedicated to women's health issues and focuses on developing long-term relationships with her patients based on honesty and understanding. She takes care of women in every phase of a life, including pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.

She is a firm believer in preventive medicine, and is committed to the highest quality of care, paying personal attention to her patients and advocating for patient education. Dr. Jacob has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecological procedures and is certified in robotic surgery for pain, bleeding, and fibroids using the Da Vinci surgical system.

Dr. Jacob attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in biology, followed by her medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. She rounded out her medical training with an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Danbury Hospital in Connecticut.

Dr. Jacob is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is affiliated with several local hospitals, including Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Centennial Frisco and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano.

Originally from Dallas, Dr. Jacob is very excited to both practice in her hometown and contribute to the community. She and her husband, Suraj, have two boys, Zayden and Zach, and a dog named Charlie, who keeps them busy while not working. She enjoys watching movies, traveling, good food, and spending time with friends and family.
