Dr. Loeffel and the nurse who came in to assist were amazing. However, I've never had the best experience with the person who checks vitals and gets intake info - rude and dismissive. You can just tell they don't want to be there which is fine but it's interesting it's been every time.

She received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Texas. She then completed her Master of Science in medical sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.
This San Antonio OBGYN received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She stayed in the city for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During her residency, Ilanna Loeffel MD completed the Felix Rutledge Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology, a one-month rotation at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Dr. Loeffel pursued research experiences during medical school and residency, exploring aspects of everything from laparoscopic surgery to ovarian and cervical cancer. She was the chief resident from 2018 to 2019. She also received the Outstanding Resident Teacher Award in 2016 and 2017. In 2017, this motivated physician received the Ryan Resident Scholarship to pursue additional training in family planning.
