I would like to recognize Carla! She worked so hard to get me a sooner appointment and was beyond kind and generous with her time! Dr. Merritt is as warm, kind, reassuring and all around easy to chat with. At no time did I feel rushed or like I was a bother.

Dr. Merritt completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Austin Dell Medical School, where she was recognized for excellence in minimally invasive gynecology.
Dr. Merritt is currently board eligible. She has completed the written board exam for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and will sit for her oral board exam in the upcoming years. She is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and is a Junior fellow in practice with American Congress of Obstetrics & Gynecology, where she sat on the executive advisory council.
In addition, she is certified to perform da Vinci surgery. Dr. Merritt also completed specialized training in the ultrasound diagnosis of preterm labor.
Dr. Merritt enjoys spending time with her husband and young daughter. She also enjoys the beauty of Lake Granbury with extended family and friends. She is thrilled to call Fort Worth her home and looking forward to raising her family here.
