History of Our Practice

Nash OB-GYN Associates was formed in 1973 when Dr. Benjamin E. Morgan and Dr. James H. M. Thorp merged their individual practices. In July 1975 Dr. Frederick G. Kroncke, Jr. joined the practice followed by Dr. Douglas D. Boyette. Drs. Morgan and Thorp enjoyed many, many years in the practice and have since retired. Dr. Boyette retired due to health reasons in 2001. We continue to serve the community with a growing practice of five physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, and 1 women's health nurse practitioner.

UWH of The Carolinas offers compassionate, personalized care to women in North and South Carolina. Our clinics provide a wide range of obstetric and gynecological services, from routine appointments to specialized care, tailored to meet women’s healthcare needs throughout their lives.
