Everyone was nice and helpful. The doctor was extremely helpful, kind and thorough. I was so glad I could get a mammogram that day in the office. I only waited maybe 10 minutes for that. The lady who gave me the mammogram was kind as well. I approached the doctor in the hall asking to speak with her in private, she was kind enough to do that and give me more information before my next appointment.

The entire team was friendly, professional, welcoming and knowledgeable - from front desk reception, appointment planners, medical assistant and Dr. Carlson. I felt valued. I liked Dr. Carlsen immediately - she has a great bed-side manner. She was very thorough. Actively sought out any questions i might have.

Dr. Carlson took amazing care of me! There are truly no words to say all that she did for me and my family. We went in for a confirmation of pregnancy appointment and learned that the baby had no heartbeat. Dr. Carlson was so kind and compassionate as she described what needed to happen next. I chose one of 3 methods to remove the pregnancy tissue and because of the method I chose, Dr. Carlson offered to perform additional testing on the tissue to find out what happened. I declined, assuming that my age was the reason. Dr. Carlson tested the tissue, perhaps it was routine, and found that I had a molar pregnancy, which is quite serious. She worked to provide the ongoing care needed for me to fully resolve the molar pregnancy without the need for chemotherapy! My family is so grateful for all of her kind, continued, thorough care of me. My quality of life would have been significantly diminished if I hadn't had her care! It's her dedication to her work that saved my entire year and maybe more. There was not one point in this process where I doubted that I was getting the best care I possibly could.
Dr Carlson is very patient and responsive to my questions in person or online. She explained her thoughts about my issues very clearly and also listened to my opinions and respected my choices. I’ve been happy with her being my Gynecologist!

She aims to create a comfortable space to educate and empower patients while providing clinical excellence and heartfelt dedication to their care. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, trying the newest restaurants in town, traveling, watching Alabama football, and spending time with her husband and their families.
