Verified Patient Reviews for Sara Bowen, DNP, APRN, WHNP-C
Sara Bowen, DNP, APRN, WHNP-C, was absolutely the most amazing pelvic exam I've ever gotten. As someone with a history of ovarian cysts, I've had plenty of trans-vaginal ultra sounds. NEVER have I been so comfortable. What more is, I was SUPER stressed about my SIS happening that day, and Ms. Bowen was supremely patient, soothing, and kind, extremely professional, and while the SIS did involve SOME pain, it was incredibly minimal. I was so impressed and appreciative to have her as my practitioner for the procedure. Honestly, give this lady a raise, I would pay good money just to see her for all my future pelvic exams if that was possible!

Everyone is so nice. Sara was very informative about what she was doing and saw and made me feel comfortable during my ultrasound.
Dr. Bowen was really kind and empathetic. She answered our questions competently and helpfully. She was happy for us.
Explained everyting
I like how she explained each step before doing it.
Sara was kind, patient, detailed, and compassionate. She made me feel seen, answered my questions, and didn't rush through anything which made me feel valued.
She was incredibly gentle while still being very effective and thorough throughout the procedure. Compared with my first SIS, this experience was significantly less painful, which made a huge difference. I also appreciated that she took the time to explain what she was seeing in real time, which made me feel much more informed and involved in my care. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I’m very grateful for her approach and bedside manner.
I had to ask if I can have intercourse that night and then she told me she forgot to mention I need to wait 24 hours. Providers shouldn't forget to tell patients important things like that. She was very nice and apologized and said she usually does tell patients that.
She made me feel really at ease for what can be a somewhat stressful procedure. She walked me through the procedure every step of the way and was great about checking in with me when I was feeling discomfort. She was reassuring and comforting. She did a great job.
