Tricia shares some of her life and asks about mine outside of GYN issues. She gives her opinion regarding any questions I may have but doesn't push me towards anything. She wants women to be the best they can be.

The wait time is minimal in the waiting room and inside the office itself, the staff are very friendly (except for the phlebotomist) and kind, and Dr. Shimer is remarkably personable while inspiring total trust in her knowledge, understanding, and interpretation of the latest in women's health research.

Everyone I met was very nice and very professional. The only thing I had a problem with was the labyrinth I had to take to get to the office, but that is no fault of the staff. Both the nurse and Dr. Shimer were so easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable, listened to, and cared for.
