Viviana Ellis, MD

Viviana Ellis MD is a highly educated and trained doctor who views caring for women as an honor and a privilege. Dr. Ellis enjoys helping women of all ages. Her goal is to empower her patients as they make decisions about their health. This San Antonio OBGYN strives to partner with women, encouraging them to take charge of their well-being.

Viviana Ellis MD graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Texas A&M University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston. Dr. Ellis chose the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for her OBGYN residency.

Our San Antonio OBGYN served as the chief resident in her fourth year of training. She published and contributed to several articles in medical journals during her time in medical school and residency. In addition, she is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Ellis is a proud member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. By maintaining membership in these professional organizations, our San Antonio OBGYN can keep up with the latest developments in the field. This knowledge allows her to provide her patients with current and highly effective women’s healthcare.

When she is not working with patients, she enjoys spending time with her family. Her 2 children keeps her on the go. In her free time, she likes to read science fiction and watch volleyball on TV and in person.
