Anureet Bajaj, MD

Dr. Anureet Bajaj is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Oklahoma who is skilled in all reconstructive procedures as well as aesthetic rejuvenation. 

Dr. Bajaj completed her residency at Loma Linda Medical Center, CA, and was trained in microvascular and reconstructive plastic surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. As a result of her experiences in medical school, she became passionate about reconstructive surgery after cancer. While other treatments seek to treat sickness and disease, plastic surgery is the only specialty that can restore patients and make them whole again.

Dr. Bajaj attended Rice University, where she majored in English and history. She later attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. While in medical school, she witnessed several extensive cancer resections, which left patients with severe disfigurements. After seeing how plastic surgeons were able to restore the appearance of the cancer patients, Dr. Bajaj decided to pursue a career in plastic surgery.

Unlike other surgeons who choose not to perform reconstructive surgery after developing a cosmetic surgery practice, Dr. Bajaj remains committed to breast reconstructive surgery. She is among the few surgeons who perform the DIEP flap procedure for breast reconstruction. She also performs breast enhancement, breast reduction, tummy tucks, facelifts, and other plastic surgical procedures.

Dr. Bajaj enjoys the flexibility of plastic surgery, as there are usually multiple ways to address the same problem, and she can develop customized treatment plans with her patients. By listening to her patients and discussing their surgical options, Dr. Bajaj works to ensure that everyone receives the best possible results from their surgery. She knows that a few extra minutes of speaking with a patient can make all the difference in the world.
