Emma Ritzmann, MD

Dr. Ritzmann is an Upstate NY native, growing up in Rochester, NY. She graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut, where she majored in chemistry and minored in mathematics and Captained the Women’s Golf Team. She finished medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse, NY in 2021 and completed OBGYN residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.

She is passionate about all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology and chose this field for its diverse scope and the deeply personal nature that makes each patient’s experience unique. Dr. Ritzmann is excited to begin her practice at Capital Women’s Care and is looking forward to building long-term relationships with her patients and supporting them through every stage of life. Dr. Ritzmann and her husband now call Northern Virginia home and enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time with family.
