Dr. K is very engaging and makes you feel comfortable. He seems highly experienced and confident that he could achieve my goals. He even provided me contact information for another physician regarding a medical problem I have. Considering the location in the Bay Area, I was not surprised at the costs of the procedures (but will have to take out loans). I had asked for pictures of scars after two types of procedures, but were not provided them. He said they leave minimal scars. I should have requested again. Besides that, after meeting with two other physicians, I will choose him for my procedures.
I guess I was expecting more noticeable results after liposuction. At first I thought it was the swelling that made me feel like I was still biggish" but it's been a few months and the changes only seem slight. For that much $$$ I thought there would be a more significant difference. I thought I had realistic expectations, but apparently not. "

Dr Korman is both a surgeon and an artist. The results of his procedures always look great, and not overdone. Every time I have a procedure done I ask myself why I didn't do it sooner. Both he and his staff are excellent!

Dr. Korman graduated with his Bachelor’s and Medical Degree from Cornell University, where he graduated at the top of his class as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He attended Stanford University to complete his Plastic Surgery residency and decided to further his education and experience by completing fellowships at Canniesburn Hospital in Glasgow, Scotland, and a Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship in Miami, Florida. He has also taught at Stanford University for 20 years and is currently their Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor. To give back to the community, Dr. Korman also volunteers his time at Breast Cancer Connections in Palo Alto to educate breast cancer patients on their options for breast reconstruction. In addition, he has experience working as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in developing countries.
Dr. Joshua Korman has appeared on several national television programs and newspapers as an expert in plastic surgery, including CNN, ABC’s “20/20”, The New York Times, and Ebony Magazine. He continues to be on many “Best of”, “Top Doc” and “Readers Choice” publications.
