Dr. Banning could not find baby's heartbeat on doppler and had me sit for an ultrasound right away. Turns out we lost the baby but Dr. Banning was very sweet about it and offered additional ultrasounds if desired and went through the next steps with me in a very compassionate way. Dr. Banning performed my D&C, making sure to remember my risk factors and keep me super comfortable.

Dr. Banning is a very thorough and patient doctor. She always takes the time to answer any and all questions. Her bedside manner is amazing and she makes patients feel very comfortable for what many consider an "uncomfortable" exam. The front office staff is also very kind and helpful. I never have to wait very long and they are very accommodating. When I first began this cancer journey I was beyond scared. Having had previous bad experiences with a GYN I was extremely uncomfortable going to a doctor. Dr. Banning has helped me to deal with the fears and anxiety. She is very kind, very gentle, and very understanding.
Kaitlyn had a warm presence, and took time to listen to my health concerns, and talk about them with me. When appointment was over, I left feeling relieved that I found such an awesome doctor.

She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from PCOM – Georgia, and completed her residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. In residency she excelled as the Academic Chief Resident for two consecutive years. In addition, Dr. Banning’s commitment to academic achievement was recognized with the award for Academic Excellence in her final year of residency as well as the Achievement award for Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) resident. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery in addition to her passion for obstetrics and helping women through all stages of their lives. Her practice philosophy is rooted in providing holistic, detailed, evidence-based care to women, ensuring their health and well-being through all stages of life. She is passionate about women’s health and committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. Dr. Banning also offers visits in Spanish.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her Husband and her Dog, Luna, as well as reading, cooking, and running. If she is outside, she is happy!
